No, because when Jesus tells of the parable of the 3 sowers, he talks of the ones that invested (not gambled) the masters money, getting a reward. If we truly believe that everything belongs to God, including our money… We wouldn’t give any of it to chance. that sounds more like a game of the Devil than anything. like when the Roman soldiers gambler for Jesus’ clothes at the foot of the cross. More so, what is the motivation behind gambling? Is it quick personal gain? Even if it is for a ministry, are you willing to lose the money put up front to try to gain more? The bible teaches those that eat should work and to work to make a living. it doesn’t teach get rich quick schemes are the way to go. Gambling can be an addiction, that may completely destroy us, or fellow believers. If a chrisitan chooses to gamble, that’s their testimony and they should never be changing the answer to “is it okay if a Christian” questions to suit their own desires. This is how the enemy wins, by dragging our fellow believers into a stronghold.
