Yes, because Proverns 22:6 says to teach them in the way that they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. we make oir kids go to school or get an education, brush their teeth, wash themselves in the bath, etc. How much more important is it that we teach then the word of God and the importance of putting him and His day first while we can. When they are 18, or out on their own then they can decide they don’t want to go. Salvation, after all, is always a personal choice. Christian parents should not allow their kids to forsake God before they’ve had a chance to get to know Him.
