Reflection · The Passion of JesusDo you understand why the disciples fled and left Jesus?
Not fully. I’m spectating that it was different for each one. Fear of death, disappointment with not immediate military victory over the government regime, ashamed of not fully understanding and standing by him while the beating were happening. Realization that they would idly let what happened to Christ happen to them. He allowed it all to go down. Then told them it is okay I did for you! He did for us, for all of us made in His image. All He asks us for is trust, faith, and love! Love Him! Love is free! Go get some Jesus!
