it depends… if you are wanting to become rich because of the love of money, then yes, it is wrong. But if you’re wanting to become rich in order to bless others with that wealth by giving to the church, helping others, etc…, then no it’s not. Plus there’s other forms of being rich, rich in love, in faith, in other things that don’t involve money and desiring those things is not wrong. So it all depends on the person’s motivation behind the desire for richness.
