I think a better way to word this is “should they express political opionions”. my answer to that is absolutely not, I’ve been to a few churches where they do this and it just totally changes the tone of the story and usually the arguments aren’t 1:1 like for ex one time I was at a church and they used a story (cannot remeber which) to argue for immigration? I think it’s insane using the Bible for any modern political argument
