I admire Paul’s boldness in calling Peter out. I’m not sure about my “authority” to call another out in public like that. But I do recognize the importance of Paul doing so. Peter’s actions were undermining his calling from God. Those actions could cause the falling away of new believers and make Paul less trustworthy.
