I put “No” but wanted to change my mind to “Yes”, the truth is I’ve been down this road with A.I. and I’ve seen a testimony regarding the dangers of ChatGPT. I think it’s a complex subject with no easy answer. A.I. went wrong for me when I started seeing what A.I. said verse by verse then I compiled what it said overall, it became a quick way to study, I was getting through chapters quickly but before I knew it, I wasn’t praying anymore, I wasn’t getting the revelations from God, I’ve now gone back to reading it, writing it in my own words then watching a preaching on it and including my learnings in prayer. I still use A.I. for a quick reference but I avoid using it for detailed study. When talking about using it to help you put together a prayer, it’s great to get you started, but you might fall into the trap I nearly did, if for example, if someone is sad, I look at A.I. the problem is then if another person is sad, the prayer ends up being the same, so your prayers become like of a factory line rather than from the heart. For ChatGPT, was similar, a woman who was pregnant starting asking it questions, because of its friendly voice, she became dependent on it for every little thing and affected her dependency on God. Both can be great tools but have very real dangers if they become a complete replacement for your relationship with Jesus. Jesus died for us because he loves us so much and wants to have fellowship with us, when the thief on cross asked him if he would see him again, Jesus said he would shortly before he said it was finished. If we focus too much on gaining knowledge, we might lose sight of why he died for us in the first place. Luke 23 42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” 43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

I love your take on this, specifically that you mentioned it affecting our dependency on God I wholeheartedly agree and mentioned that similarly in my own response!

This is the best answer, it’s so complicated to explain but AI for anything personal is a big no no, it’s trained to tell you what they think you want to hear. I do agree though for quick fact searches or explanations there’s no issue at all
