I would say yes because the lottery is considered a game. If you play just for fun, you are not sinning you are simply playing a game that has a chance to win a big payout. If it is something you have to do, or cannot go a week without doing, or the only reason you are doing it is you are relying on the winnings, now your hearts desire is chasing after an idol and it becomes a sin.

finally one I agree with! I don’t consider the lottery gambling lol, like I get if you have never bought a ticket it seems that way. It’s like the same as entering a raffle IMO.
