Even if I were able to look past the horrific costumes, unhealthy sweets and demonic excitement surrounding Halloween, I still wouldn’t feel comfortable with the concept of teaching children that a payoff is acceptable. Isn’t that essentially what “trick-or-treat” means? Philippians 4:8 – Be mindful of what is pure, honourable and worthy of praise.
