42I think both have their place, and I don’t believe there’s anything inherently wrong with either a small church or a large church. I’ve attended both and have grown in my walk and faith in both, and I’ve found that I’ve needed different things during different seasons of my life. At one point, I attended a very small Church with a congregation of maybe 30 people. The pastor was literally my next-door neighbor, and I would often go to church with him and his wife. During that season of my life, I needed that smaller, close-knit community. I learned so much from his Sunday sermons, and they helped me grow in my faith and understand parts of the Bible that I hadn’t understood before. Now I attend a much larger church. It’s not a mega church, but it’s certainly larger than what some people might be accustomed to. I’ve found so much community, fellowship, and opportunities to serve and get involved. I’ve continued to grow in my walk with Christ, just in different ways. I don’t think one is necessarily better than the other. I think the Lord can use both to reach people, build relationships, strengthen faith, and help us grow. What someone needs in one season of life may look very different from what they need in another. At the end of the day, it’s not about the size of the church, but about Christ being at the center of it.
