Reflection · The Passion of Jesus

Do you understand why the disciples fled and left Jesus?

They are human just like us and they didn’t understand what Jesus meant when he said he would be king. They thought he would be an earthly king during their time, not the savior of all of eternity. They weren’t willing to die for him like Jesus was willing to do for all who believe in Him.
