How do you discern genuine repentance in yourself or others?

Genuine repentance I think 🤔 is for example you repent of a certain sin you know you are doing… I feel it’s genuine if you don’t go back to doing it on purpose

Well said! Repentance can only be genuine if we recognize, admit, seek forgiveness, and commit to working towards never committing the intentional act of sinning again. We must feel it in our hearts, display through our actions, and confess it to the Lord.
