Yes, because up until the age of accountability a child’s religious base is the parents responsibility. That’s why raise them up in the way they should go. A child should know at minimum, which sounds wrong when speaking of God, know that at any time any where when they have no hope they can fall to their knees and call to their Father God and His Son Jesus. How can they cope and survive otherwise?
