Our Story

Ascend started as a school project. I pitched the idea of a gamified Bible learning app, something that could make Scripture feel genuinely engaging.

The project didn't go well. The grade was rough.

But the idea wouldn't leave me alone. I kept thinking about all the people who wanted to learn the Bible but didn't know where to start. The ones overwhelmed by 1,200 pages. Intimidated by Bible studies that assumed years of background knowledge. Let down by apps they deleted after a week.

I believed this needed to exist, so I kept building it anyway. Late nights, weekends, learning to code as I went.
