1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Ascend ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Ascend is a gamified Bible study application that provides:

• Interactive Bible lessons and quizzes
• Daily Bible study plans and reading schedules
• Progress tracking with streaks and achievements
• AI-powered Phoenix companion for personalized learning
• Community features and leaderboards

3. Subscription Plans and Pricing

Ascend offers the following subscription plans:

All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

4. Payment and Billing

Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Use the service in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
• Share inappropriate content through community features
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application
• Violate the rights of other users or third parties
• Distribute malware or other harmful software

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All content provided through Ascend, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, and software, is the property of Ascend or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

The Bible texts used in our application are in the public domain or used under appropriate licenses.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

Ascend is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascend shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the application. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes relating to these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration.
